The rapid advancement of digital technology has created both opportunities and challenges for the moral and ethical development of young people. Issues such as moral degradation, cyberbullying, identity crises, unethical social media behavior, and the growing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) highlight the need to strengthen moral values through Islamic Religious Education (IRE). This study aims to analyze and synthesize the role of Islamic Religious Education in strengthening the morality and ethics of young people in the digital era. The study employed a qualitative approach using the Narrative Literature Review (NLR) method. Literature was collected from Google Scholar, Garuda, and relevant national and international journals published between 2023 and 2026. Of the 45 identified articles, 15 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed through narrative synthesis. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education plays a strategic role in fostering moral development through the internalization of Islamic values, teachers' role modeling, the strengthening of religious school culture, Islamic digital literacy, and collaboration among schools, families, and communities. The synthesis further reveals that moral challenges in the digital era cannot be addressed solely through technological competence but require the integration of digital literacy with religious character development. This study proposes a conceptual framework integrating Islamic values, digital literacy, digital ethics, religious culture, teachers' role modeling, and school family community collaboration as a comprehensive model for strengthening the morality and ethics of young people in the digital era.
