Artha: Journal of Economics and Sustainable Development is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, and critical studies in the fields of economics and sustainable development. The journal aims to provide an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate scientific works that contribute to the advancement of economic knowledge, development studies, and sustainability-oriented policy.

To maintain its scientific distinction from other journals under the same publisher, Artha does not prioritize manuscripts that focus primarily on general business administration, organizational management, strategic management, human resource management, marketing management, consumer behavior from a marketing perspective, leadership studies, operations management, supply chain management, education management, or non-profit management.

Manuscripts related to business actors, enterprises, institutions, or organizations may be considered only when they clearly emphasize economic development, economic empowerment, sustainability, financial inclusion, public policy, welfare improvement, environmental economics, or sustainable development outcomes. This distinction ensures that Artha has a specific academic identity in the fields of economics and sustainable development and does not substantially overlap with journals focusing on business and management studies.
